dundee sets sail

Post by RNR »

headed to dundee on the sat and sun to see what all the sailfish fuss was about. first time ive been fishing for them the other 2 crew ahev fished a few times off of darwin with mick catching one so for mike and myself we have now lost our sailfish virginity.
over the two days i would say we raised over 40 fish and landed 14.

Saturday was a real eye opener these fish are agro fish and the way they kept grabbing the baits as we would drop them back ,then try to hook up miss the hook up so we would drop the bait back again and they would climb allover the bait again. getting a solid hookup became a bit annoying but we slowly got the numbers in our favor.

will be back out there sooner than later if we have a good break in the wind again

Love the 2nd Phot......What a great weekend out!

WD, we only managed 1 to the boat and raised and hooked several, but that's enough to keep me going back.

Any thought to the sails maybe moving North as we hooked most of our fish around LongLost and Blaze wide.....Sail City did nothing for us Saturday.

I know nothing about them, just throwing it out there.
