Harmsey's new rig

Post by harmsey »

Well the new rig is here thanks to a massive effort by Shane Doevy who went miles out of his way to pick the rig up from down south for me.

Still got quite a few things to sort out to make the rig a little bit more NT friendly but I am happy as  with her and Im sure she will see her fair share of NT adventures. :captain:

Here is a list of what’s she got and I will keep this thread updated with all the improvements and mods.

The hull is a DownUnder Custom plate aluminium 6.8M centre cab
Powered by a 200hp 4 stroke Johnston (Suzuki painted white)
The electronics are Raymarine C120 with 1kw transducer, DSM, remote auto pilot, weather station, Northstar F210 fuel flow and Vhf/27 meg radios
Not sure how far the 270lts of fuel will get me yet but time will tell
Crusing speed is around 40km/hour and at WOT she hits 70km/hr

Unnessesary toys include a Walker electric downrigger with StrikeVison, pioneer DVD with a huge 19â€Â

Can't wait to see what comes from this after the ongoing good results you had in the last boat. Looks like a serious rig, love the deep V and the walkaround

Very nice Harmsey.

Your going to be able to explore some new grounds now.
