Cobourg Peninsula/Arnhem Land Fishing. : Landbased Fishing

Im taking the Oldies out camping to Cobourg Peninsula on the weekend.

I went out there a couple of years ago with a boat and we did pretty well. This time I will be boatless but keen as to hit the land based stuff there. My plan is to fish the high tide with large poppers from some rocks/beach areas for GT's, Queens, Macs etc. Im just wondering if anyone has been out there and done OK and if they wouldnt mind giving me some pointers on where to go.

It was a lot easier with a boat there to find the good spots and we often landbased there even with the boat.

Im also hoping to have a flick for some barra in a few creeks on the way out if possible.
